Keeneland is one of the premier racing venues in the U.S. and the world. Located in Lexington Kentucky, the track runs a spring and fall meeting each year. The main track is a 1 1/16 miles dirt surface. The turf course is 7 ½ furlongs.
The 2025 Spring Meet at Keeneland is from April 4-25. The 2025 Fall Meet will be conducted from October 3 to October 25. The spring meeting includes key preps for the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby. The fall meet offers important prep races for the Breeders’ Cup.
There are plenty of prestigious races held at Keeneland during both the spring and fall meetings.
Ashland Stakes (G1): A major prep for the Kentucky Oaks for three-year-old fillies, run at 1 1/16 miles.
Blue Grass Stakes (G1): A key Kentucky Derby prep race for three-year-olds, run at 1 1/8 miles.
Madison Stakes (G1): A sprint for fillies and mares, four years old and up, at 7 furlongs.
Maker’s Mark Mile Stakes (G1): A prestigious turf race for older horses, run at 1 mile.
Jenny Wiley Stakes (G1): A race for fillies and mares, four years old and up, at 1 1/16 miles on the turf.
Breeders’ Futurity (G1): A key prep for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and the Kentucky Derby, for two-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles.
Spinster Stakes (G1): A major race for older fillies and mares, often used as a prep for the Breeders’ Cup Distaff, run at 1 1/8 miles.
Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes (G1): An important turf race for older horses, at 1 mile.
Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1): A significant race for three-year-old fillies on the turf, at 1 1/8 miles.

Daily Double: Pick the winners of two consecutive races.
Pick 3: Pick the winners of three consecutive races.
Offered multiple times per day, with the first Pick 3 starting on the first race and continuing through the day, and the final Pick 3 encompassing the last three races.
Pick 4: Pick the winners of four consecutive races.
There are two Pick 4s daily; the first one begins on the second race, and the second one covers the last four races of the day.
Pick 5: Pick the winners of five consecutive races. Available on the first five and the last five races of the day.
Pick 6: Pick the winners of six consecutive races.
Super High Five: Pick the first five finishers in exact order. This is offered on the last race of the day with at least seven betting interests, with a minimum bet of $1.
