The 1 1/16-mile Alcibiades is one of three stakes on Friday’s 10-race opening-day program of the 17-day Fall Meet. The season runs through Saturday, Oct. 24.

The 174th running of the Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix (G2) drew a field of 11. The field is headed by Fleur de Lis Stables, William S. Sparks and Bret Jones’ Hymn, winner of the Forego (G1) at Saratoga in his most recent start, and Qatar Racing LLC and Mrs. Fitriani Hay’s Nakatomi, the defending champion who also finished second in 2023 and 2024.
The 36th running of the Jessamine (G2) Presented by Keeneland Sales drew a field of 12. The field is led by Main Line Racing Stable and Avalon Racing Stable’s Glycogen, winner of the P.G. Johnson (L) at Saratoga in her last start.
Zulu Kingdom Bids for Second Keeneland G1 Win in Coolmore Turf Mile on Saturday
Madaket Stables, Michael Dubb, William Strauss and Michael Caruso’s Zulu Kingdom (IRE), winner of the Maker’s Mark Mile (G1) during Keeneland’s Spring Meet, headlines a field of nine entered Tuesday for Saturday’s 41st running of the $1.5 million Coolmore Turf Mile (G1).
The Coolmore Turf Mile is one of five stakes on Saturday’s 11-race card, part of the 25th anniversary of Fall Stars Weekend. Fall Stars Weekend kicks off the 17-day Meet Friday and continues Sunday with three more stakes.

The 113th running of the $650,000 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity (G1) drew a field of six. The field is led by Gainesway Stable, Shamrock Stables and Michael J. Mackin’s Coach Pope and impressive Saratoga debut maiden winners American History for WinStar Farm, First Go Racing and CHC Inc., and Q B Rocket for Spendthrift Farm and Frank Fletcher Racing Operations Inc.
The 46th running of the $400,000 Thoroughbred Club of America (G2) drew a field of seven. The field is led by last year’s winner, Newtown Anner Stud’s Praying, and Gabriel Duignan’s multiple graded stakes winner Echo Sound.
The 30th running of the $400,000 Woodford (G2) Presented by FanDuel drew a field of 10. The field is led by Patricia’s Hope’s veteran $1,951,452-earner Nobals, winner of the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1).
Counting Stars Takes on Older Foes in Juddmonte Spinster on Sunday
West Point Thoroughbreds’ Counting Stars, the winner of back-to-back Grade 1 stakes in the 3-year-old filly division this spring and summer, looks to bolster her championship credentials when she takes on four older fillies and mares in Sunday’s 71st running of the $650,000 Juddmonte Spinster (G1).
The Juddmonte Spinster, which also attracted 2024 champion 2-year-old filly Immersive and Grade 1 winner Fully Subscribed, is one of three stakes on the final day of the 25th Fall Stars Weekend.
